Senior Structural Design Engineer - Structural Steel
Location: Middlesbrough
Permanent | Competitive Salary

We're recruiting for a leading UK structural steel specialist with over 50 years of experience delivering complex, high-profile projects. Due to ongoing growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Role:

Full design responsibility for structural steel frames, members, and connections

Manage projects independently or as part of a team

Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors

Produce both manual and software-based calculations

Attend client and project meetings

What We're Looking For:

10+ years' structural steel design experience (UK fabricator background essential)

Degree qualified, ideally working towards IEng or CEng

Proficient in Tekla Structural Designer, MasterSeries, IDEA StatiCa and related software

Temporary works design experience (advantageous)

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
