Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a leading structural steelwork specialist delivering high-quality engineering solutions across UK and Europe. You will design from concept to completion, perform calculations, review drawings, and ensure buildability, safety and compliance while collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers a challenging portfolio of projects and opportunities to apply advanced software tools such as Tekla

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a structural design engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and design.
• Excellent design calculation and analytical skills.
• Experience with specialist software such as Tekla/ST Designer, STAAD, MasterSeries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver structural designs from concept to completion.
• Interpret drawings, plans and specs to inform design.
• Undertake structural calculations and assess loads.
• Use industry software to verify designs and ensure buildability.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, health and safety standards.
• Support tender submissions and provide technical input.
• Liaise with clients and management with progress reports.
• Maintain high technical accuracy and share knowledge.
