Senior Structural/Civil Engineer - Newark, Nottinghamshire

Salary: 30k-50k

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join an independent and well-established consultancy in Newark.

Calibre Search is working with one of the East Midlands' most vibrant Engineering Consultancies, looking to expand their team. They offer a modern office environment focused on employee satisfaction and growth.

The company, though relatively young, is making significant industry impacts and handling high-profile UK projects. They specialize in Structural Steel, Concrete, Architectural, Structural, and Civil Engineering services.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge in Structural Design, CDM Regulations, and contractual awareness. This role is suitable for someone seeking a supportive consultancy that values internal progression.

Requirements:

• Near Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or IStructE.
• Experience with design in multiple materials and analysis of various building forms.

The candidate will work within a mixed civil/structural engineering team. Competence in either field is acceptable, with flexibility to represent all areas in meetings and project actions.

Work predominantly involves industrial/manufacturing projects, alongside commercial and bespoke activities.

The role involves supporting a Principal Engineer, overseeing design packages, managing technicians, and leading smaller projects.
