  • Aircraft Structural Design and Advanced Stress analysis, Airframe Stress Analysis, Composites Analysis, Composite Structures, Engineering calculations in heat transfer and stress analysis, HyperSizer, Metallic Stress Analysis, Static Stress Analysis, Stress Calculations, Stress-Strain Analysis

Description

  • 15+ years experience in the analysis of aerostructures design, development, and projects, with hands-on metallic and composite structures analysis using FEA and classical hand analysis methods.
  • Current or past Approver or checker delegation is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of aerospace materials, standards & specifications.
  • Engineering activities supporting PDR for Wing / Empennage and boom aero structures. Both metallic and composite capabilities required, with experience to perform analysis checks.
  • Expertise in Hypersizer, HyperX is mandatory for composites design & optimization.
  • Review and finalize concept design, implement detailed design & development, support PDR activities, qualification, and production of composite and metallic components and assemblies.
  • Manage work package execution and ensure delivery plans meet customer requirements.
  • Define integrated design solutions for new components/assemblies and modifications to existing ones (composites and metallic).
  • Optimize design solutions balancing cost, quality, manufacturability, serviceability, and performance.
  • Coordinate with multifunctional teams to prepare drawings and engineering data for manufacturing and customer data submittal.
  • Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Provide modeling, simulation, and prototyping services.
