We are about to launch an ambitious programme to enhance our city centre. Residents and businesses have expressed the need for a safer and cleaner city, and we are listening. We aim to recruit local individuals who know the city and want to help it reach its full potential. If you are eager to make a difference, our city centre needs you!

We seek an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Street Scene team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. The role offers a 37-hour workweek from Thursday to Monday, 11:30 to 19:30 (with a 19:00 finish on Mondays).

Experience in Street Cleansing or Waste Management is beneficial but not essential. We value a positive attitude, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering excellent service daily.

Training will be provided to operate various maintenance machinery for tasks including litter removal, bin emptying, fly tip clearance, road sweeping, and weed removal. The role involves working directly within the community across Doncaster, providing a tangible impact on residents’ quality of life.

If you wish to be part of a service dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Doncaster’s public spaces, this could be your opportunity.

We will supply full uniform and PPE, along with opportunities for future development.
