easyJet’s Strategy team is responsible for defining and articulating the future direction of the business, and ultimately driving the long-term success of the airline. The team works with stakeholders across all areas of the business, including Commercial, Operations and Finance in the areas of strategic planning, fleet planning, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and supporting areas of the business tackle challenging and complex problems.
Overview of the role
To continue our winning strategy, we’re looking for aSenior Strategy Manager.Reporting into easyJet’s Head of Strategy, this role has a specific focus on developing and driving key strategic projects, whilst also supporting the wider annual strategic planning process.The role is will also play a key role within any M&A related activities.
Responsibilities include:
> Develop hypothesis-led solutions to complex business challenges across a range of business areas
> Challenge existing organisational perspectives through analysis, benchmarking, and problem solving
> Drive progress of complex, cross-functional, business critical programmes through a disciplined approach to project management and strong collaborative approach stakeholder management
> Build strong relationships & influence key business stakeholders including senior execs (CEO, CFO, COO, CCO)
> Manage and perform high-quality quantitative and qualitative research to identify and validate opportunities
> Manage teams of direct and indirect reports to successfully deliver project outcomes
> Manage easyJet's annual strategic planning process including demand forecasting, competitive intelligence, strategic initiative identification and development of the five-year financial model, in conjunction with Finance
Requirements of the Role
What you need to do the role
> Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Proven ability to lead structured, data-led problem solving, even in ambiguous and fast-changing environments. Able to rapidly understand new business areas and design practical, insight-driven recommendations
> Analytical & Financial Acumen: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including strong Excel, SQL, and experience with modern BI platforms. With a preference for financial modelling capabilities via CFA/ACA/MBA or equivalent experience
> Communication & Influence : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in PowerPoint. Confident presenting complex insights and strategic recommendations to influence senior stakeholders. Able to design and lead workshops and interviews with senior business leaders
> Leadership & Collaboration : Strong project and stakeholder management experience, with a proven ability to scope, lead, and deliver cross-functional initiatives. Builds constructive relationships and motivates teams to achieve shared goals
> Commercial & Business Awareness : Deep understanding of business performance, cost consciousness, and the long-term implications of strategic decisions. Experience in an in-house strategy team or top-tier consultancy preferred, ideally with an aviation focus
> Innovation & Adaptability : Open to new ideas, challenges existing ways of thinking, and thrives in dynamic, uncertain environments. Demonstrates ownership, resilience, and adaptability in driving results

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
