Morgan Law is supporting a major public-sector organisation in London with the appointment of a Senior Category Manager / Strategic Category Lead (IT & Digital). This is a senior procurement opportunity for an experienced IT and Digital procurement professional capable of leading category strategy and developing a high-performing team.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, drive strategic sourcing and complex negotiations, and deliver measurable cost savings across IT and Digital

Qualifications

• Strong experience in IT procurement and digital procurement.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing and category management.
• Experience leading procurement teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of public-sector procurement regulations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT & Digital category strategy and procurement.
• Manage and develop a procurement team.
• Drive high-value IT and digital procurement projects from strategy to contract.
• Develop sourcing strategies, tenders and commercial agreements.
• Lead complex negotiations and contract management.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and drive performance.
• Deliver measurable cost savings and value-added outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to influence strategy.
