Job summary

Oxford Knight is seeking a storage systems engineer to design and evolve modern storage platforms across hybrid and cloud environments. You will integrate storage with compute and network infrastructure to maximise performance and scalability, while delivering self-service capabilities and reducing manual effort.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to drive adoption of modern storage practices and maintain strong communication across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating storage systems in large-scale, low-latency environments.
• Deep expertise in protocols and technologies, e.g. NFS, SMB, S3, Linux, Fibre Channel and NVMe-oF.
• Deep knowledge across at least two of the following: file, block, object, cloud, or data protection.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Experience with modern storage and data platforms, e.g. NetApp, Pure, VAST, Weka, GPFS, cloud storage.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or related field)
