Job Description:

Senior / Principal Statistical Programmers | Global CRO | UK | France | Poland | Spain |

We are partnering with a market-leading global CRO to recruit a Senior and/or Principal Statistical Programmer for a dynamic and high-impact role. This is not a traditional programming position, we’re looking for an experienced professional with robust, end-to-end programming expertise across multiple therapeutic areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data anonymization and disclosure, with hands-on experience in producing high-quality TFLs for internal projects. Expertise in generating Disclosure Tables, particularly Basic Results tables, is essential. Versatility, flexibility, and a proactive approach to working across diverse therapeutic areas will be key to success in this role.

What you will be doing:

  • Program and validate SDTMs, ADaMs, and complex efficacy/lab datasets.
  • Proficient in SAS (Base, Macros, Graphs); experience with R or Python is advantageous.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Disclosure tables, especially Basic Results tables.
  • Develop/debug complex macros and program non-efficacy outputs/figures.
  • Strong understanding of clinical data flow from raw datasets to submission-ready formats.
  • Skilled in TFL production programming for internal studies.
  • Create, QC, and update complex dataset specs across single/multiple studies.
  • Interpret and apply current SDTM, ADaM, and FDA CRT standards (define.xml/.pdf).
  • Independently review SAPs and shells; contribute feedback.
  • Adhere to SOPs, study documentation, and internal quality standards.
  • Lead programming activities, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with statisticians and PMs on resourcing and planning.
  • Act as programming point of contact; ensure cohesive team performance.
  • Promote best practices and support internal training initiatives.

What you will need:

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mathematics, Science, or IT-related field.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive, innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Effective at prioritization, time management, and project delivery.
  • Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Be available on a short notice period.

What’s in it for you:

  • Recognized as an outstanding workplace, committed to employee engagement, satisfaction, and work-life balance.
  • Structured training, development plans, and a supportive, friendly environment.
  • Condensed hours for a shorter workweek.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Fully remote role available in the UK, France, Spain, or Poland.
