New Hall Hospital in Salisbury is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join the Pre‑Assessment team. You will combine hands‑on patient care with clinical leadership to perform pre‑operative assessments and identify risks before surgery.

You will support junior staff, promote patient safety, and work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients are prepared and reassured ahead of procedures. Ramsay Health Care UK values teamwork and ongoing development.

Formación

• Current NMC registration and registration in good standing.
• Strong post‑registration nursing experience, ideally pre‑assessment, surgical or acute care.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills with sound escalation judgement.
• Ability to provide clinical guidance and support to colleagues.
• Commitment to high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to reassure patients.

The role

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your career, or an established Senior Staff Nurse looking for a new opportunity within Pre-Assessment?

We're looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Pre-Assessment team at New Hall Hospital , playing a key role in ensuring our patients are safely and effectively prepared for their treatment.

As a senior member of the team, you'll combine hands‑on patient care with clinical leadership. You'll undertake comprehensive pre-operative assessments, use your clinical judgement to identify potential risks or concerns and work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure patients are appropriately prepared for surgery.

You'll also be an important source of support for colleagues, sharing your knowledge and experience, providing guidance to more junior members of the team and helping to maintain consistently high clinical standards. You'll contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the Pre-Assessment service, promoting effective communication, patient safety and a positive experience for everyone in our care.
