Up to £45,000 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Staff Nurse at our hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC registration. Besides post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching, assessment, and management.

As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will:

• Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
• Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be
• Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient’s needs
• Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
• Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
• Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews, and training

We’ve opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital: The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology, and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres, and Endoscopy and minor ops theatres. It features 28 consultation rooms, a cardiac catheterization lab, Oncology Day unit, and a full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and general X-ray.
