Job description

Hospital at Home NHS GG&C Neonatal Service Senior Staff Nurse Band 6

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse with Neonatal Specialist Nursing qualifications to join our evolving Hospital @ Home service. This pilot project aims to develop a Hospital @ Home care model within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Neonatal Service. The service includes an 8-bed virtual ward providing hospital care at home, supervised by a Consultant Neonatologist. Care will be delivered by specialist neonatal nurses both in hospital and in patient homes, enhancing family experience by reducing hospital stays and preventing admissions.

The successful candidate must be enrolled in Part 1 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register, demonstrate ongoing professional development, and possess excellent communication skills. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in acute care and home care is desirable. A full driving license is essential.
