An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen at Longreach House. Based in Redruth, Longreach is an adult acute mental health unit working with service users from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures who are experiencing an acute episode of mental health difficulties.
We are looking to appoint a Senior Staff Nurse who is passionate about providing safe and quality care.
Our emphasis is on providing a therapeutic environment, offering a holistic approach to treatment in a safe and supported space which promotes rehabilitation and recovery. We work with various professionals, carers, and community staff to ensure effective delivery of care and a planned, safe, and timely discharge.
The successful candidate will be required to take a leadership role on the ward, deputising for the ward manager when required, overseeing the day-to-day running of the ward, and being responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership to the in-patient multi-disciplinary team through supervision and direction.
The appointee will be required to work rotational shifts including weekends and bank holidays as necessary, with a flexible manner to ensure a seamless whole service approach.
Safe and effective delivery of care will be expected alongside compliance with The Nursing and Midwifery Council's Code of Professional Conduct.
