A healthcare organization in Clitheroe is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join the team at Woodview Unit. The successful candidate will provide nurse leadership, ensuring high standards of care for inpatient service users. We are looking for a full time Senior Staff Nurse to work on Buckley Ward at Woodview Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, suitably qualified, experienced and forward thinking individual to join the teams at Pendleview.
Inpatient wards/units are designed to meet the acute holistic needs of service users/patients and carers, in a recovery focussed environment. This working environment supports staff development and wellbeing. The post holder will support staff in the assessment, planning and provision of care in line with national and local nursing and health and safety policy. The post holder will exercise professional accountability and responsibility, demonstrating use of professional skills, knowledge and expertise in the provision of high quality care. There is an expectation that the post holder will utilise research, audit and enquiry to lead improvements in care.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
