A leading NHS Trust in London is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to manage a group of patients in the GI Unit. You will provide high-quality clinical care, ensure patient advocacy, and lead a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and experience in the field. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £46,419 to £55,046 per year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within GI unit, for a Senior Staff Nurse position.
We currently have x1 permanent vacancy available
The GI Unit is a 56 bedded department comprised of two wards, Page & Northumberland. The successful candidate will work alongside the nursing team, with the support of the Charge Nurse and Ward Sister and senior leadership team in ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to all our patients.
We aim to provide outstanding and specialised care to our Gastrointestinal Surgical patients, and we are looking for a motivated, friendly, hardworking, experienced senior nurse to join our highly skilled team.
Main duties of the jobYou will be offered time to complete administrative duties including, complex rostering, performance managing and supporting the team. Time will be allocated allowing you to supervise, support and complete PDRs and one to ones with your staff, competing clinical audits and feeding back to the team.
You will also be expected to be involved with the recruitment and selection process and full training will be offered. You will also be expected to look into incidents and learning that may arise from these.
