A leading independent hospital in the City of London seeks a Senior Staff Nurse for its critical care unit on a bank contract. The role encompasses clinical supervision, mentoring junior nurses, and ensuring exemplary patient care. Ideal candidates are registered with the NMC, possess post-registration experience, and have a strong empathetic nature.

Up to £30 - £40 an hour, depending on experience

Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students.
Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews, and training.
Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is the City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. It is our flagship center for cardiac services and provides a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology, and urology. The hospital has 55 beds, including 7 intensive care beds, four advanced digital operating theatres, and a full diagnostic imaging suite.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will:

- Supervise junior nursing staff and students.

You must be registered with the NMC and hold relevant qualifications and experience, including post-registration experience, mentoring, and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management, are desirable.
