Location: London, Platinum Medical Centre (LOC)
Working Hours: Full time, 37.5hrs per week (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri)
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Senior Staff Nurse with a background in Haematology or Oncology to join our Day Care Unit at LOC (Leaders in Oncology Care). Rated “Outstanding” by the CQC, this is one of our flagship specialist cancer centres, dedicated to delivering pioneering treatments and compassionate care.

This is more than a clinical role – it’s a leadership opportunity. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in guiding and inspiring the nursing team on shift, setting high standards and leading by example. Working closely with experienced nurses and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll oversee the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of complex care pathways within a safe and supportive environment. In the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse, you will have the chance to step up and lead the unit, further developing your confidence, autonomy, and management skills.

We are open to considering applications from experienced staff nurses who have a strong background working within a chemotherapy day unit environment. Candidates must be NMC registered and have completed and consolidated the SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy)course. You should be a confident and competent chemotherapy provider, approved to administer a broad range of anti-cancer treatments independently. A proven ability to work autonomously in an outpatient setting and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential.

• Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
• Significant post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting
• Up to date knowledge and an experience on the administration of the SACT
