We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to a 16 bedded Acute inpatient Mental Health ward within the rural area of Argyll and Bute.

Working in a remote and rural area like Argyll & Bute, offers a unique opportunity to work within dynamic teams with beautiful scenery, in some of the most beautiful and breath-taking landscapes in the UK.

The ward offers a varied experience within the remit of Mental Health and works well with community and emergency care practitioners.

As a Band 6 you will be expected to have good communication skills, be able to prioritise, work safely and effectively as well as be a team player.

You will be required to manage the shift as the nurse in charge and deputise for the Band 7 when required.

Argyll & Bute offers a wide range of activities within a stunning landscape that would suit both single and families alike. There are the islands of Islay, Mull and Jura that attract visitors from all ages, from the nature lovers to the whisky tasters as well as famous towns of Oban and Inveraray.

These are permanent 37 hours per week posts, worked in accordance with service requirements.
