I am seeking an analog-knowledgeable Senior Staff FAE (Field Applications Engineer) to join the global Field Sales team. This role is ideal for an ambitious, enthusiastic engineer with knowledge and passion for analog circuit design. You will discuss, analyze, and identify solutions with customers, support sales efforts, and travel to support their analog IP portfolio. Being a self-starter and a team player, with practical experience in sales processes and customer support, is essential. Experience as an analog or chip integration engineer with expertise in integrating analog IPs is also valuable.

The Role

• Supporting sales with technical discovery calls and meetings, matching customer needs with our solutions
• Supporting customers in the development and use of IP
• Answering pre-sales queries from prospects
• Assisting at shows or events
• Acting as a liaison between customers and engineering, capturing customer requests and feedback
• Representing our technical capabilities to the marketplace in collaboration with engineering and marketing teams

The Requirements

• Experience specifying and designing analog integrated circuits for modern SoCs on CMOS processes
• Knowledge of analog system-level design and trade-offs for SoCs
• Understanding of top-down design methodologies for analog and digital design
• FAE experience in the analog domain is preferred
• Knowledge of industry tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor)
• Comfort dealing with customers and presenting technical subjects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with support tools or customer portals (e.g., Bugzilla, Jira) is a plus
• Self-starter with initiative, capable of managing own work across time zones
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally

• Experience with integration, verification, and tape-out
• Experience presenting technical seminars and workshops
• Knowledge of packaging (CSP, BGA, etc.)
• Understanding of SoC design process
• Experience with analog macros in SoC/ASIC integration
• Experience performing analog top-level tapeout
