Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture and technical strategy for global payment processing. You will mentor engineers, shape the platform’s direction, and tackle complex challenges, guiding teams toward robust, scalable AI‑native systems.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with emphasis on design, reviews, and velocity. You’ll influence cross‑functional partners and set high standards for quality, performance, and security across the engineering org.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with deep Go/Kotlin backend expertise and full‑stack capability.
• Proven ability to design robust, scalable systems and solve complex problems.
• Strong AWS and cloud‑native experience (RDS, ECS, EKS, S3).
• Excellent automated testing across unit/integration/e2e in Agile/DevSecOps/CI/CD.
• Proven technical leadership: mentoring, vision, delivery across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; communicates clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.
• Architect and build scalable, maintainable payment platforms.
• Drive complex, cross‑team projects to on‑time delivery.
• Contribute to technical vision, roadmap, and best practices.
