A leading technology company is seeking a CPU Performance Benchmarking Engineer to enhance their next generation of power-efficient CPUs. The ideal candidate will analyze CPU performance metrics, mentor junior team members, and collaborate across teams to optimize workflows, all while enjoying a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Are you curious about the performance and evolution of CPU micro-architectures ? As a CPU Performance Benchmarking engineer, you will be responsible for delivery of performance and power metrics to teams designing Arm's next generation of power-efficient CPUs, and to apply and enhance novel techniques to analyse data and progress performance of processors and cache systems. Your role will extend to mentoring junior team members and collaborating with other sites to optimise shared processes.
You will work in collaboration with other UK based CPU engineering teams, evaluating and improving the performance features of micro-architectures utilising industry standard workloads. Continuously enriching and accelerating our methodologies to achieve this is also a key part of the role!
