Job summary

Pigment is seeking a Senior SRE to design and implement the infrastructure for their platform. You will ensure high availability, performance, and support geographical expansion while collaborating closely with software engineers.

The ideal candidate has experience in software engineering and DevOps, with proficiency in Kubernetes, public cloud providers, and various programming languages. Strong problem-solving skills and team spirit are essential, along with fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Experience as a software engineer and DevOps / SRE.
• Experience with a container orchestration platform (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience with a public cloud provider; GCP is a plus.
• Proven experience in software development with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with observability tools (e.g. Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Jaeger).
• Great team spirit with a problem-solving attitude.
• A good dose of humility and the willingness to grow.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the infrastructure to answer performance challenges.
• Secure high availability and redundancy of the Pigment platform.
• Ensure the performance and correctness are monitored accordingly.
• Participate in incident response.
• Accompany Pigment geographical expansion.
• Work with security team on implementation related to infrastructure.
• Continuously chase inefficiencies within development practices.
