Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional SRE, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong experience implementing observability with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or CloudWatch.
• Proven incident response experience in a production environment, including on-call and post-incident review.
• Experience managing and optimizing cloud cost at scale, with tagging and governance.
• Solid cloud security fundamentals: secrets management, least-privilege, and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build observability across Ventures environments (logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerts).
• Define meaningful SLIs and alert thresholds to reduce noise.
• Lead incident response, on-call rotation, and post-incident reviews.
• Implement cloud cost visibility and governance across AWS and GCP.
• Review and improve secrets management, IAM, and network configurations.
• Document runbooks and operational procedures for handover after contract ends.
