Job summary

Compass Community Schools is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to provide clinical leadership, professional oversight and strategic direction for Speech and Language Therapy across our schools in the UK.

You will work with the National Lead SENDCo to establish clinical standards, pathways and outcomes, develop a Speech and Language Therapy Champion programme, and supervise therapists while building sustainable, high-quality practices across multi-site settings.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and RCSLT membership are essential.
• Significant experience in specialist education or therapeutic services.
• Experience supervising Speech and Language Therapists and leading service development.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-informed practice and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for Speech and Language Therapy across Compass Community Schools.
• Develop clinical standards, pathways and quality assurance to improve learner outcomes.
• Lead national training, workforce development and a Speech and Language Therapy Champion programme.
• Supervise therapists, support recruitment, induction and professional development.
