Overview

Parkwood Hall Cooperative Academy is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist (Senior SaLT) and a Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) for the upcoming Autumn Term. These roles are part of our new in-house therapeutic services team, following significant changes under new leadership.

Position Details

Start Date: Autumn Term (flexible)

Working Weeks: Term Time + INSET days + 2 weeks = 41 weeks/year

Salary: PO5 to PO7 (£48,460 - £54,581 FTE), comparable to Agenda for Change Band 7

Role Responsibilities

• Lead speech and language or occupational therapy support within the school as part of a Trans-Disciplinary Team
• Drive and quality assure interventions for children and young people
• Develop personalised support plans
• Supervise and mentor therapeutic staff
• Foster reflective practice and oversee service development
• Work with families and carers to assess and support a wide range of social, communication, sensory, and physical difficulties
• Contribute to school improvement initiatives and maintain high professional and safeguarding standards
• Shape training programmes and advise on service delivery
