Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Wolverhampton, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within schools and children’s homes to ensure therapeutic support permeates all aspects of education, care, and support
  • Provide consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to educational and residential teams around children

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
  • Proven skills and experience in engaging and delivering therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs
  • Experience supporting teams to provide clinically informed living and learning environments
  • Confident, engaging, effective leader, trainer, and guide
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
