Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rédiger des spécifications de produits pour divers détaillants et assurer la conformité aux exigences.
• Supporter l'équipe NPD avec des calculs nutritionnels et contribuer aux revues pré et post-lancement.

Are you a Specification Technologist with experience working with major UK retailers looking for a step-up?

Senior Specification Technologist

Bakery food products

Hybrid – 3 days WFO / 2 days WFH

The role:

As the Senior Specification Technologist, your role will involve completing product specifications for various retailers, customers, and our own brand across multiple accounts, including high-profile grocery chains and discount retailers. You will be responsible for managing and administering retailer systems, ensuring that all specifications and artwork meet the highest standards of accuracy and comply with deadlines.

You will be responsible for approving supplier specifications and ensuring compliance with retailer/customer codes of practice and food legislation. Additionally, you will support the NPD team with nutritional calculations, cross-checking documentation, and contribute to pre- and post-launch reviews to ensure specifications meet KPIs.

You:

• Have at least 12 months of experience in specification writing for a food manufacturer.
• Knowledge of major UK retailer specification systems is essential.
• Strong understanding of retailer requirements and codes of practice.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
