Job Description:

Are you a Specification Technologist with experience working with major UK retailers looking for a step-up?

Role:

As the Senior Specification Technologist, your responsibilities will include completing product specifications for various retailers, customers, and our own brand across multiple accounts, including high-profile grocery chains and discount retailers. You will manage and administer retailer systems, ensuring all specifications and artwork meet high standards of accuracy and adhere to deadlines.

You will approve supplier specifications, ensure compliance with retailer and customer codes of practice, and food legislation. Additionally, you will support the NPD team with nutritional calculations, cross-check documentation, and contribute to pre- and post-launch reviews to ensure specifications meet KPIs.

Requirements:

• At least 12 months of experience in specification writing for a food manufacturer.
• Knowledge of major UK retailer specification systems is essential.
• Strong understanding of retailer requirements and codes of practice.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Note: Candidates on a non-permanent work visa will not be considered, as the company cannot provide sponsorship after the visa expires.
