Are you a Specification Technologist with experience working with major UK retailers seeking a step-up?

Senior Specification Technologist

Bakery food products

Hybrid – 3 days WFO / 2 days WFH

The role:

As the Senior Specification Technologist, you will be responsible for completing product specifications for various retailers, customers, and our own brand across multiple accounts, including high-profile grocery chains and discount retailers. Your duties will include managing retailer systems, ensuring specifications and artwork meet standards and deadlines, approving supplier specifications, ensuring compliance with retailer codes and food legislation, supporting the NPD team with nutritional calculations, and contributing to reviews to meet KPIs.

You:

• Have 12+ months experience in Specification writing within a food manufacturing environment.
• Possess knowledge of major UK retailer specification systems.
• Have a strong understanding of retailer requirements and codes of practice.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
