You will be joining the Whistleblowing Central Function (WBCF), a dedicated team within AFC – Central Investigation Function tasked with the review, logging and triage of confidential escalations, thus ensuring appropriate follow-up of reports relating to potential whistleblowing. The WBCF operates in a dual hub model with personnel located in London and Frankfurt and oversees the Deutsche Bank Whistleblowing program globally.

Your key responsibilities
  • Intake, triage, escalation, allocation and documentation of reports and whistleblowing matters including oversight of matters triaged by other WBCF operatives.
  • Represent the WBCF towards the United Kingdom, Americas and Asia Pacific and act as central point of contact for local stakeholders including individuals raising reports, internal investigative functions and subject matter experts responsible for following-up on reports alleging possible violations.
  • Compile information materials on whistleblowing including development of case summaries / case studies in an appropriate format.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions on whistleblowing.
  • Support the function in developing the global whistleblowing framework further; drive different change topics and update processes, procedures, and guidelines in line with changing regulatory requirements.
Your skills and experience
  • High level of personal integrity and professionalism, the ability to handle sensitive information, good judgment and a high level of discretion.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple complex deliverables at the same time and manage competing deadlines.
  • Excellent understanding of whistleblowing regulation and/or whistleblowing reporting channels and handling of escalations.
  • Experienced in conducting and/or supporting internal investigations into fraud and misconduct, with relevant professional certifications.
  • University degree in relevant field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
