Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks a Procurement professional to collaborate with the Global Supplier Operations team, harmonising data sets, tools and processes across the supply chain.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, align with internal teams and support ERP systems and procurement tools to optimise purchasing workflows and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Business/STEM or equivalent.
• APICS certification including CPIM, CFPIM, or the CSCP is preferred.
• Developed understanding of supply chain – 3+ years experience.
• Understanding of ERP/MRP (Microsoft AX2012, InforLN) and supporting systems (Agile, DMS) for Supply Chain & Planning functions.
• Essential – SQL / Tableau / Power BI understanding.
• Good communication skills for supplier interactions and internal coordination.
• Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding and training internal staff on procurement procedures and best practices.
• Ensure supplier relationships adhere to company policies and quality standards.
• Work closely with production teams to align material procurement with operational needs.
• Represent Supplier operations within audits (customer or regulatory) globally.
• Maintain detailed documentation on purchasing workflows, approvals, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in streamlining ordering processes to reduce costs and prevent delays.

• Conduct process audits to ensure alignment with procurement strategies and industry regulations.
