Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in Lambeth is seeking a Highly Specialist Psychologist/Psychotherapist for the Crisis Plus service. The role focuses on time-limited interventions for repeat users of crisis pathways, applying CBT/third‑wave models and culturally aware psychological care within a multidisciplinary team.

You will assess and treat complex presentations, manage risk, and contribute to service development and training.

• Cultural competence with diverse local communities.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and complex presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for Lambeth Crisis Plus clients.
• Assess and monitor risk and develop risk management plans.
• Contribute to team functioning and service delivery for diverse communities.
• Offer consultation, training and supervision within the service.
