Senior Specialist Pharmacist - Transplant and Respiratory Medicine

Royal Papworth Hospital is seeking a dynamic pharmacist to lead the pharmaceutical service for our transplant and specialist respiratory patients. This role offers the opportunity to join a well-established team of senior pharmacists, specialist technicians, clinicians, and nurses to positively impact patient care.

The pharmacy department is located at our state-of-the-art, digitally enabled specialist cardio-respiratory hospital. The successful candidate should have a hospital background, ideally with experience in interstitial lung disease, sleep medicine, or transplant medicine.

We support flexible working and continuous education. If you are not already an independent prescriber, we will support you to gain this qualification. Our staff are encouraged to attend conferences, participate in research, and enroll in leadership courses.

Additionally, the opening of the new Cambridge South train station in early 2026 will provide excellent railway connections to the East of England and London, facilitating quick and convenient access to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
