Job summary

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is recruiting a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist for complex under-6s. The post covers West Hertfordshire and offers band 7 responsibility with travel between Watford and Hemel Hempstead.

You will deliver assessments, evidence-based interventions and provide clinical supervision while collaborating with health, social care, and education colleagues. A modern, supportive team environment and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Specialist knowledge in working with CYP and families.
• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions.
• Provide clinical support to a team of health professionals.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Maintain links with health, social care and education professionals.
• Work collaboratively with OT team and supervise junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments and deliver interventions for children birth to 6.
• Support families and carers acrossWatford and Hemel Hempstead.
• Provide clinical supervision to other therapists.
• Collaborate with education, social care and health services.
