Leadingedgeme is seeking an experienced Specialist Medical Practitioner to provide high-quality specialist clinical care, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients in London. The role requires working with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining patient safety, and upholding professional standards.

Applicants should hold a recognised medical degree, GMC registration, and a relevant specialist qualification, with 3–5+ years of post-specialisation experience, and a commitment to ongoing

Competenze

• Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• GMC full registration with the appropriate licence to practise.
• Recognised specialist qualification relevant to the position.
• 3–5+ years of relevant post-specialisation clinical experience.

Mansioni

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within the relevant medical specialty.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment and care plans.
• Conduct specialist consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when required.
• Work closely with consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, and other clinical teams.
• Review diagnostic investigations, laboratory results, and medical imaging.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case discussions.
• Support emergency and urgent-care requirements within the specialty where applicable.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Follow NHS policies, GMC standards, clinical guidelines, and applicable UK healthcare regulations.
• Support junior doctors and other healthcare professionals through supervision and clinical guidance where required.
