Job Description

As a Sr. Specialist on the Insights & Analytics Team, this individual will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success Management, Business Intelligence, and Product to enable our merchant-facing teams to deliver data-driven decision-making and actionable insights supporting our Merchant business goals and reinforcing the value of Checkout's products to drive adoption of our technology. Specifically:

  1. Produce analytics tools, frameworks, and collateral to enable our Commercial team in delivering data-driven and actionable insights to our Merchants.
  2. Collaborate with RevOps and Business Intelligence Teams to design, deploy, and promote adoption of the commercial data toolkit that powers our Business Value models, Benchmarking tools, and Customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
  3. Partner with leaders in our CSM organization to standardize and train on internal tools and frameworks that help manage Merchant accounts and forecast payment performance for internal planning.
  4. Provide recommendations to our Analytics Product management team on insights and features needed for merchants to analyze their payment data effectively in the platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fintech or financial services. Knowledge of Payment Performance metrics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, manipulation, visualization, and compelling presentation creation.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Experience with data modeling, forecasting, and regression analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
