37.5 hours per week with on-call and weekend requirements. Part-time applications are welcome (either 3 days/week or shorter hours across 5 days).
Salary:
£60,000 per annum

About the Role:

Join our dedicated team in London specializing in the healthcare of women and children. As a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for a wide range of core pharmacy services, including medicines management, providing evidence-based practice advice to inpatients and outpatients, patient and aseptic services, risk management, and clinical governance. This role is primarily ward-based with occasional dispensary cover as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead and develop specialist services for Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care. Additionally, you will oversee drug validation and configuration for the ICCA prescribing system. You will also develop and manage drug validation and configuration for the Meditech Expanse prescribing system. Providing expert pharmaceutical advice in PICU and NICU will be a crucial part of your role. Furthermore, you will participate in clinical audits and transformation projects.

Requirements:

  • MPharm (or equivalent) and registered with the GPhC.
  • Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/master’s in clinical pharmacy (or equivalent) or willingness to enrol.
  • Experience in PICU/NICU specialties.
  • Experience in specialist areas such as paediatrics, women’s health, critical care, cardiology, and enteral nutrition.
  • Experience in a hospital setting.
