Job summary

SSTL in Guildford, UK, seeks a Senior Power Engineer to lead analogue power design for space missions. You will design, analyse, verify and deliver power subsystems from concept through to flight, including battery charge/discharge regulators and DC-DC converters.

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to meet stringent space-grade requirements and mission lifecycles. A degree in electronics and 5+ years in analogue/power electronics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electronics with strong analogue/power focus.
• Experience in space or aerospace environments is highly valued.
• Proven ability to design, analyse, verify and deliver power electronics for space systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse, develop, verify and deliver power subsystems for spacecraft.
• Lead battery charge/discharge regulators, DC-DC converters and power distribution modules.
• Coordinate verification tests and produce technical documentation.
