Job summary

You will collaborate with engineers and project managers to drive trade-off analyses, manage risk and ensure delivery within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience of space system engineering or engineering of similarly complex systems.
• Basic understanding of the critical subsystems and functions that make up a satellite mission.
• Experience with system validation, verification and delivery, including managing stakeholders around technical risk and scope.
• Experience deriving and managing engineering requirements.
• Ability to perform complicated technical and programmatic trade-offs.
• Comfortable working with engineering simulations and outputs of aerospace engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Define mission concepts, requirements and timelines based on customer needs and stakeholder inputs.
• Lead trade-off analyses and present results for early and late lifecycle systems.
• Design baseline and change management across the system lifecycle.
• Manage stakeholders to reach consensus on technical topics and action plans.
• Delegate work and manage scope, schedule and workload among engineers.
