Job summary

MDA Space in Manchester is seeking an experienced engineer to work in developing space telecommunication payloads and digital signal processing algorithms. Candidates with 5+ years of signal processing experience and strong skills in VHDL are highly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in signal processing design and implementation using FPGA.
• Strong skills in VHDL and/or Verilog coding.
• Familiarity with 5G/LTE radio stacks and radiation mitigation design techniques desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop space telecommunication payloads, instruments, and sensors.
• Design, simulate and implement digital signal processing algorithms.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software for space missions.
