This is a great opportunity for an experienced level 3 qualified and experienced therapist. You will support our experienced Spa Manager and Spa Supervisor in managing the Utopia Spa team including 25 therapists and the spa reception team, in this thriving Spa business.

It goes without saying to manage the team you will need to be fully qualified and experienced as a spa therapist in the treatments the Utopia Spa offers.

Your key duties will include;

Service Delivery

• Ensuring the team are set up for the day, in terms of treatment rooms, treatment plans and therapist appearance and grooming.
• Ensuring treatment delivery is of the highest standards.
• Ensuring all therapists are running treatments to the correct allocated times with any changes or delays being effectively managed with clients and within the system.
• Ensuring treatment rooms and all public areas are maintained and presented to the highest standard throughout the working day. Actioning any shortcomings with the spa team or the in-house cleaning and maintenance teams.
• Ensure teams are aware and briefed on all promotions and any current offers.
• Be available to support therapist, receptionist and guests with any queries or advice.
• Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained in liaison with the spa supervisor and spa manager.

Training and Support

• Be involved with the recruitment and induction training of all new recruits to the Utopia Spa team.
• Supporting new and existing therapists to achieve required treatment standards through ongoing training and support.
• Ensure the therapists are supported to help them achieve their retail targets and therefore gain their commission payments.
• Assist the spa supervisor and spa manager with performance managing the team.

Operational

• Ensure in liaison with the spa supervisor and spa manager that a morning briefing is delivered to the team to ensure the smooth running of the Utopia Spa that day.
• Pre-empt any issues to the day to ensure the smooth running of the Utopia Spa that day.
• Be competent and able to cover therapist and reception during periods of high demand.
• Be involved in recruitment of therapists as directed by the spa supervisor/ spa manager.

Requirements

• Level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, or equivalent.
• Have relevant spa and therapist experience within a quality operation.
• Have a supportive attitude to your team with team management experience.
• An experienced customer service provider in a beauty/spa operation.
• Ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve required results.
