Job description
Overview

Overall aim of the role: Our out of this world, Celestial Floatation room boasts a Celestial floatation pool and four individual floatation pools, in which the highly mineralized warm spring water is enriched with 21 essential minerals, which can relieve joint pain, calm the nerves and aid the lymphatic system to eliminate toxins from the body. Nutrient absorption through the skin reduces conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and acne. In the Celestial Flotation pool, customers are invited to lie back and gaze up at the sparkling starlit sky. This experience allows the body to float freely and leaves customers feeling completely weightless. As a Floatation Therapist you will introduce customers to the unique experience of the Celestial Floatation pool, Hydro Massage Beds and Mud Rasul, ensuring our customers get the most out of their treatment. You will also carry out daily operational procedures including pool safety, pool monitoring and pool water quality testing. You must have a flexible approach to hours of work (which will include evenings, bank holidays and every other weekend, on a 4 week rolling rota) and will share our pride and passion for our amazing facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Floatation Treatments to ensure that bookings levels are maximised by engaging with customers and informing them of the day\'s availability. Liaising with the front of house teams who will support you in increasing your daily bookings.

  • Committing to the department customer journey practices and client care, to ensure consistency on each client visit.
  • Achieving individual monthly product sales targets by recommending products following each treatment.
  • Being punctual to ensure that treatments start at the correct time.
  • Attending all team meetings and necessary training courses mainly National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC).
  • Carrying out regular pool testing to ensure the highest standard of pool hygiene is maintained, reporting any anomalies that fall outside our pre-set parameters.
  • Complying with Nirvana Spa\'s Normal Operating Procedures (NOP) and Emergency Action Plan (EAP), to ensure safety and consistency for customers.
  • Taking personal responsibility for Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Monitoring pool usage to ensure customer comfort and safety and react calmly and promptly to any emergency.
  • Reporting any incidents, accidents or any guest dissatisfaction to an Operations Manager promptly.
  • Demonstrating teamwork by being organised, efficient and productive.
  • Showing reliability, honesty and a strong work ethic.
  • Being a warm, friendly and effective communicator with the ability to build rapport with customers and the team.
  • Maintaining a flexible, cooperative, positive and can-do attitude.
  • Setting and maintaining high standards and the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a warm environment with high attention to detail and adherence to safety policies.
