The Boars Head, a Parogon pub set in the Cheshire countryside near Nantwich, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen with the Head Chef and GM. You’ll develop the brigade, run the kitchen when the Head Chef is away, and ensure consistent, high-quality pub dishes.

With 32 hours a week, there is a clear path to Head Chef, plus a competitive package including a bonus and service charge. Enjoy guest-focused cooking in a dog-friendly, country setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous or Senior Sous Chef
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A passion for great food and high standards
• Ambition to progress to Head Chef

Responsibilities

• Running the kitchen day to day and stepping up when the Head Chef is off
• Leading, training and inspiring the brigade
• Delivering our menus consistently, with meticulous attention to detail
• Supporting with ordering, stock, labour and food safety
