The role |
As a senior sous chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve their best, while also driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

- Are dedicated to ensuring an excellent guest experience, with every dish prepared to exceptional standards, either through your own efforts or by empowering your team.
- Ensure your kitchen’s food, health, and safety standards are maintained at the highest level, and understand the financial aspects including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
- Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
- Are a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick thinking and decision-making.
What we look for |
- Experience leading a kitchen team as a head chef or senior sous chef, with a focus on performance and positive leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team effectively.
- Proven experience maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety.
- Understanding of financial performance metrics such as gross profit and stock control.
- Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
- Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team, fostering their growth and development.
- Passion for creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
- A proactive problem solver, able to think on your feet.
