At Hotel du Vin, fifty percent of our revenue comes from catering sales. In many of our hotels, our bistros can be busier than most local restaurants! This provides our chef teams a great opportunity to develop their skills—learning new techniques, working in fast-paced environments, and handling ingredients they may not have worked with before.
We offer on-the-job training in-house, as well as nationally recognized apprenticeships through our training providers. If you're looking to advance your career, our kitchens are the perfect place to do it. Four of our Head Chefs have been promoted from within, with two starting as kitchen porters.
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef by ensuring the team delivers brand standards smoothly and consistently. Ideally, you will have experience at this level and be capable of developing and leading your team effectively.
