Upham Inns in Beaconsfield is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and lead a team of junior chefs. The role focuses on executing company menus with excellence, managing rosters, and driving growth through training and development.

The ideal candidate has solid culinary and presentation skills, a proven track record in high-standard kitchen operations, and the right to work in the UK. Live-in options may be available, with opportunities for career progression.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year experience as a Sous/junior Sous chef.
• Experience working within company defined menus and recipes.
• Be a strong Leader, with the ability to train, Coach and develop junior chefs.
• Maintain high operational and personal hygiene and presentation standards.
• Excellent culinary and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• To work and support the Head Chef and management.
• Assist with menus and recipes defined by the company.
• Manage staff rosters and allocation of work details.
• Train and develop the team for growth.
• Handle food orders, stock control and proper storage of stock.
• Provide high quality food and service consistently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, fire, health & safety, licensing and employment laws.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

• To work and support the Head Chef and management

• Be able to fulfil training and growth of the team


• Be able to food order, stock control and correct storage of food stocks


• A Genuine desire to provide high quality food and service


• Maintain and manage the required high operational and personal standard of hygiene and presentation within the team at all times.


• Comply with all Food safety, fire, Health and safety, licensing and employment laws
