Job description

A Senior SousChef position is available at a multi award winning four star country hotel, which is part of a private group of quality hotels. The hotel is a busy dining venue with fine dining award winning restaurants serving fresh, modern dishes. The hotel also offers a more relaxed dining menu in the bar and hosts private events, weddings and conference and exclusive afternoon teas. As a result this Senior Sous Chef role will require you to adapt to a number of different cooking styles whilst maintaining the day to day management of the kitchen and the supervision of the brigade of 8 chefs in the kitchen. You will assist the Head Chef who has total responsibility for all aspects of food production, from sourcing suppliers to delivering customer excellence in the finished dish.

Requirements:

CVs will be considered from Senior Sous Chefs, it is important that they highlight experience working in busy kitchens serving multiple dining operations and busy banqueting operations for a minimum of 3 years and ideally with a minimum of 2 Rosette experience. A chef who has the drive and ability to push forward standards, be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved.
