Qualifications

Senior Sous Chef- Central London

Immediate start

48 hours per week based on 8 shifts

About you:

We are recruiting for a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef who is passionate about food preparation. You would have excellent eye for detail for every plate that you prepare. Be a Team player and be able to lead by example.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create innovative and delicious dishes, ensuring they complement the overall dining experience
  • Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to strict hygiene standards
  • Work effectively as part of the Senior Leadership Team; effectively manage and develop Junior Chefs.
  • Contribute to the development of new dessert ideas and specials.
  • Adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a fine dining environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional quality
  • Proficiency in culinary arts, food production, and kitchen management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
