Our Global Sourcing & Procurement Services (GS&PS) team manages all third-party spend for AIG, ensuring productivity and quality. Our team includes specialists in Category Strategy, Negotiations, Transformation, Operations, Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, Analytics, and Program Governance. GS&PS aims to deliver value by building trust, providing excellent procurement experiences, maximizing profits, minimizing risks, and supporting sustainable growth for AIG.

How you will make an impact

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist for Professional Services (IT & Non-IT) in UK & EMEA, you will execute category strategies and lead sourcing initiatives in collaboration with business leaders. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value is key. You will manage multiple projects, ensuring they align with AIG policies and goals.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading end-to-end strategic sourcing for Professional Services, including negotiations, RFP management, and strategy development.
2. Managing complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms based on market research.
3. Leading cross-functional teams to define supplier requirements and facilitate supplier selection.
4. Assessing supplier performance to ensure contractual compliance and high-quality service.
5. Developing relationships with business leaders to understand their needs and priorities.
6. Advising leadership on procurement best practices and ensuring adherence to ethics and policies.
7. Staying informed on market trends, supplier dynamics, and regulations affecting Professional Services.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiations within Professional Services.
• Proven ability to manage supplier agreements effectively.
• Strong analytical skills for issue identification and solution proposal.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with senior management.
• Knowledge of sourcing, contracting, and vendor management processes.
• A customer-centric approach focused on delivering value.
