LEGO has been enhancing its play experience with technology elements such as semiconductors, SoCs, ecosystems, software, and system engineering. The role involves developing direct relationships with strategic suppliers, focusing on semiconductors and IP integration into ASIC designs. It is located in London, Billund, or Singapore, and is part of the Parts External Manufacturing organization under Procurement.
The role involves developing procurement strategies for semiconductors and SoC integrated circuits, managing contracts, and supporting supplier relations.
The ideal candidate has a technical background in electronics engineering and experience in ASIC or custom silicon design. They should have experience with SoC/Module projects, process milestones, and working with partners on cost, process technologies, NPI, and yield optimization. Strong commercial leadership, interpersonal skills, and multicultural experience are essential. Fluency in English and willingness to travel are required. Proven semiconductor experience, negotiation skills, and ability to define technical and logistical requirements are also necessary.
